Used Barges - PONTOON CAUSEWAY, #5155-6502.
1995 Naval Facilities Engineering Command powered causeway/ barge section craft. Hull# CSP 85-136B, causeway is assembled with 33 individual cubicle pontoons 5'x5'x7', 2 powered modules and 1 machinery module 25'7'x5', weight approx 200,000 lbs. width 21' 6", deck height 5', total height 13', approx length 90'. Powered by 2 8V71 Detroit Diesel engines, engine hours 999 and 61. Driven by 2 Allison Marine transmissions that transfer power via 2 large drive shafts to 2 water propulsion assemblies. Craft has a 55 gallon stainless steel hydraulic tank with a hydraulic starting and steering system, it has 625 approx gal stainless steel fuel tank and engine can be run on diesel fuels, most fuel/ hyd piping is stainless steel, engines are outfitted with sea chests and selector valves for raw water cooling, the fire suppression system has 3 50lb fire bottles installed to a permanent piping system, electrical system has 4 12v batteries installed, craft is operated via the pilot house and the use of Morse cable controls, each space is outfitted with 2 bilge pumps (forward and aft), machinery space has 6 nitrogen filled accumulators that provide power and assistance to the hydraulic system, craft has 1 storage pontoon, a light mast is included, unknown condition of causeway bottom, expect engines to be in good shape and able to run
