USCGC Blackberry 65 Foot Buoy Tender. Manufactured in 1946. Powered by an 8V71 Detroit Diesel Engine recently rebuilt (Approximately 2 years ago), Generator estimates 1,000 hours on the engine. Generator estimates 100 hundred gallons of fuel currently on-board the tender, Cruising Speed is 5-6 knots. Max speed is 8 knots. Range at cruising speed is 800 nautical miles. Tender has a 5 ton North American crane on the forward deck. Installed in 1998. Control unit for crane recently replaced. Tender has a 2 year old John Deere 50KW Generator with Onan control module, Generator estimates 2,500 hours. All spotlights operational. Steering is cable steering. Both on-board compressors are in working order. Firefighting system is operational. Propeller is a 5 blade 39 x39, AC units have been removed. Boat has a spare prop, shaft stub, and rudder, along with several filters specific to the boat. The deck is zinc plated. Both forward hatches were recently replaced. Max Draft Aft 4 .
